Community project impacts

From a business model focused on generating positive social impact to local communities, UCB develops solutions that supply clean and accessible power to isolated communities in the Amazon region.

Check below some of the benefits generated to such populations from our solutions integrating storage and photovoltaic generation, which evidence UCB commitment with sustainability, and reflect the positive impact that we promote in the lives of the communities serviced and the environment.

Cost saving and reduction

Renewable power projects reduced costs for the population attended. Before that, families spent 50 reais a week with diesel fuel. Now, with photovoltaic modules, there are no more costs.

The community of Bauana, located in Caruari, about 1,000 km away, hosts a processing unit for andiroba oil.
Bauana was chosen to receive the renewable energy project, in partnership with FAS, not only because of the technologies and components to be employed, but also due to the characteristics of the community itself. It is an extractive community that generates income and development for local families, promoting decarbonization and improving quality of life.
This collaboration not only addresses immediate energy challenges but also prepares the community for a sustainable future.
